My Background
I've have been fascinated by the night sky since I was a kid. I built my first telescope when I was twenty-four. I now have a few of them, much better ones. I could look through them for hours but that's hard on the neck, so I hooked a camera up to them and take pictures to stare at.
Deep sky secrets
The night sky doesn't readily give up it's secrets. Anyone can point a camera up at night and snap a photo, but they'd be lucky to get anything other than dots in the sky. I yearn to explore deeper, farther, beyond the apparent. I know there is so much more up there and I want to capture it.
Sharing Knowledge
Through trial and error (and good ol' blood, sweat and gears) I've managed to amass a good deal of knowledge on how to bring out the wonder and beauty of the stars.
